Thank You to The Groton Education Association and Susan Norris, The Spot, and Par Four.
The GEA sponsored 2 Tip-A-Teacher evenings at The Spot and Par Four on March 25th and 26th. Teachers from Groton Public Schools and Sacred Heart waited on parents, students, and patrons. Good food, entertainment, and good company all helped us to raise $1258. Thank you to Julie Cagle and all the teachers who donated their time to help us raise money for next year's grants.
Susan Norris, an avid quilter, presented us with a spectacular Blue and White quilt that she had designed and made for The Groton Education Foundation to raffle. She named it "Shining Stars in Groton Education"
All the directors sold tickets and we raised over $2575. On May 6th the winning ticket was drawn.
Congratulations to Alan Morse of Groton who bought his ticket at The Spot during the Tip-a-Teacher event.
